Teaching is the highest form of understanding.
So I find that teaching and the students keep life going,
and I would never accept any position in which somebody has invented a happy situation for me where I don't have to teach. Never.
Good teaching is one-fourth preparation and three-fourths theatre.
In a completely rational society, the best of us would be teachers
and the rest of us would have to settle for something less.
Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher.
Soap and education are not as sudden as a massacre, but they are more
deadly in the long run.
