The Advanced Programming Environment (APE) lab is located in EBU3b rooms 2236
and 2238.
The lab is intended for instructional use by CSE graduate students
and other students who are currently enrolled in CSE graduate-level courses.
The lab is maintained by
csehelp@cs.ucsd.edu.
Physical access to the rooms are controlled by card readers.
To gain access you must visit Robin Vespertino in EBU3b room 2248
with a valid UCSD ID card.
If you ever have trouble with the APE lab machines, please fill out a
trouble report.

Network Access
There are three DHCP network drops for user's laptops; 1 located in 2236
and 2 located in 2238.
Scanners
There is 1 USB flatbed scanner attached to cseapew07 in EBU3b room 2236.
Printers
There are two printers in EBU3b room 2236. p2236-c1 for color and
p2236-b1 for black-and-white.

Csehelp stocks paper in the APE lab.
Users are expected to reload the paper trays when the printers
are out of paper, and to clear out paper jams. (Turning the
printer off, and then back on will often clear out the previous
state of the printer.)
To request a new toner cartridge, additional paper,
or to report a problem with a printer please fill out a
printer trouble report form.
