From North of La Jolla
- Interstate 5 south.
- Exit Genesee and head west (right).
- Go up to the top of a long hill and make a left onto North Torrey Pines Road (third traffic light).
- Turn left at the first stop light, North Point Drive.
- Follow this street as it becomes Hopkins Drive. This route is also known as Campus Loop.
- The road bends to the right. When you reach Voigt Drive (stop sign), turn left and go down a hill.
- At the next stop sign, there will be a parking lot (P502) to your left. If you have a permit, you may park here in an appropriate, designated spot. There are also a select number of metered spaces in this lot, as well as in P508. For more information on campus parking, see the Campus Parking Office.
- Our building, Computer Science & Engineering (EBU3b) will be on your right another 800 feet down Voigt Drive.
From South of La Jolla
- Interstate 5 north.
- Exit La Jolla Village Drive and head west (left).
- Turn right at Villa La Jolla Drive.
- When the road deadends at a stoplight, make a right onto Gilman Drive. This route is also referred to as Campus Loop.
- Follow this around and make a left onto Voigt Drive (stop sign).
- When the road deadends, make a right (you will remain on Voigt Drive).
- Our building, Computer Science & Engineering (EBU3b), will be on your left near a yellow, blinking pedestrian light.
- 800 feet further down Voigt Drive, there will be a parking lot (P502) on your right. If you have a permit, you may park here in an appropriate, designated spot. There are also a select number of metered spaces in this lot, as well as in P508. For more information on campus parking, see the Campus Parking Office.
From East of La Jolla
- Highway 52 west.
- Interstate 5 north.
- Follow previous directions "From South of La Jolla".
From West of La Jolla
- The ocean is west of La Jolla.

Parking
Metered parking is available in Lots P502 and P508 ($.25/per 15 minutes) for all university visitors.
Unmetered spaces are available for visitors with a university parking permit,
which may be purchased at the Parking Office or the Information Booth located at
the Gilman Dr. entrance to campus. Visitors with official university business
should contact their host regarding a complimentary permit.
